random acts of kindness day

Random Acts of Kindness Day on World Mental Health Day – 10th October 2011

The Mind Sanctuary has joined forces with local business women Rachel Ducker of Apparitions Design & Time2Shine and Helen Oldfield of Affinity PR, to spearhead a campaign that pledges to show Suffolk as the kindest county.

Local businesses and members of the public are invited to pledge to participate in a Random Acts of Kindness Day on 10th October 2011,  to coincide with World Mental Health Day and as part of Suffolk Health and Wellbeing Month.

The key message of this campaign is that kindness is not only good for everyone’s mental and emotional wellbeing, it’s good for business too.

What is a Random Act of Kindness?

A random act of kindness is a selfless act offered in order to help or support an individual, group or organisation.  It can be spontaneous or planned, the key element is that nothing is expected in return.

How Can You Get Involved?
