The focus of Suffolk Health & Wellbeing Month is mainly to improve the mental and emotional wellbeing of the people of Suffolk, while also recognizing the importance of good general health in achieving this. Events therefore include activities that promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as more specific mental health and emotional wellbeing activities and awareness campaigns.
Suffolk Health and Wellbeing Month, which falls during October in order to coincide with World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2012, is coordinated and promoted jointly by Suffolk Libraries, Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust and The Mind Sanctuary, on behalf of V.A.S.P (Voluntary & Statutory Partnership) and other wellbeing professionals and organisations.
This year the theme for Suffolk Health and Wellbeing Month is depression. Find out more about depression and view our depression leaflet at the following link: Depression Leaflet
