Since launching The Mind Sanctuary website at the beginning of July, I’ve received a number of emails from individuals seeking information and support with various mental health issues.
In each case I always adopt a non-advisory peer approach, discuss what techniques have worked for me, and raise their awareness of different lines of support both offline and online.
It struck me that it would be really useful to build relationships with counsellors, therapists and coaches who offer on-line support, so that I have a bank of mental health professionals and coaches to direct people to, should they wish or need qualified support and guidance.
I am working on building these relationships in the background, but thought I may be able to speed the process up by publishing a blog post such as this and calling out to any online therapists who would like to help.
It is essential that any professionals I use have appropriate qualifications and provide a holistic approach that supports recovery. Some readers may be of UK origin, but don’t currently reside in the UK, so I’m also looking for therapists who provide email or skype phone support.
You will also have the opportunity to publish articles via this website so that readers can get to know a bit more about you, and hopefully take away some useful tips that they can apply to their every day life in order to nurture their mental health on an ongoing basis.
If you are a UK based therapist or life coach and would like to discuss this in more detail, please email me, outlining your approach, experience, and the services you offer. You can find my email address on the contact page.
Thank you for taking the time to read this “call out”, and I look forward to learning more about you and your services.
Please note that I don’t intend to use the first people who come along, but am looking towards learning more about individuals and honing down to a small number who are aligned with the ethos of The Mind Sanctuary website.
