Tina is a pioneer in the field of mental health. The Mind Sanctuary provides a range of information from practical articles to raising some pressing issues that need to be addressed. It is imperative that individuals take some responsibility for their own health (mental, emotional, physical, behavioural) and wellbeing and that the medical profession embrace holism as a concept. The Mind Sanctuary support this movement and in a time when diagnosis are going through the roof, I am relieved that that the public can access some grounded, encouraging information and take some personal control of their wellbeing. The Ghazala Group are honoured to sponsor The Mind Sanctuary and be part of this essential resource for Suffolk. Camilla Ghazala - Ghazala Group
Through The Mind Sanctuary, I think Tina has managed to create something that the Voluntary and Statutory agencies have been attempting to create for years. It is a brilliant way to get all services registered on one site, it gives people the opportunity to network – signpost – and identify different approaches. It keeps everyone up to date on what is happening and gives the unheard a voice. It is a superb way of reducing the stigma attached to mental health and with Tina championing this and openly talking about her own struggles will, I hope, encourage others to do the same. Workwise is proud to be a part of this ground breaking approach to promoting mental well being. Valerie Beresford – CEO Workwise Suffolk
The Mind Sanctuary is at the forefront of offering people a way of taking responsibility and ownership of their mental health and wellbeing. This is vital as we move forward into a more holistic way of looking after ourselves. Carole Baker, Director, the self centre
Ipswich Concern Counselling feels there is a desperate need for coherent mental health services both locally and nationally. We feel that The Mind Sanctuary provides a joined up website offering a full service for providers and users of mental health services alike. Feeling that your life is worthwhile comes from many aspects of life: from counselling, employment, physical wellbeing and finding time and space to be yourself. This website covers all these aspects. Having one point of contact for all mental health services in Suffolk will be fantastic. We hope this site will become the first point of contact for anyone seeking information on services offered in our area. Stella Robbins – Head of Centre – Ipswich Concern Counselling
